BEKI Israel Study Group

Our next speaker will be Dr. Bruce Wexler, Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at Yale.  We will meet on Wednesday, January 25, 7:30-9:15 pm, in the BEKI Library/Chapel.

Bruce will speak on “Have Israeli Society and Government Changed in Significant Ways, and If So What Are the Implications for Jews In and Out of Israel?” based on his own experiences “in the field.”

In addition to his distinguished medical career, he is the Founder and President of “A Different Future,” an NGO to reclaim the public idea space from extremists regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

As Facilitator for the Council of Religious Institutions of the Holy Land, he designed and managed the U.S. State Department funded study of how “the other” is portrayed in Israeli and Palestinian school books.
