The Rosenkrantz Family Library
The Rosenkrantz Family Library is a small reference and lending Judaica library serving the BEKI membership and the general public. It is open during regular synagogue hours. The Library is supported by the The Louis & Mary Rosenkrantz Family Library Endowment, established by the Congregation at The Jewish Foundation of Greater New Haven.

Programs
Shabbat Shalom Learners' Minyan
The Shabbat Shalom Learner's Minyan meets every second Saturday morning year-round from 10:45a to noon in the Library. The Learners' Minyan combines study, prayer and discussion based on the weekly Scriptural readings and Sabbath prayers. Taught by Steven Fraade, Alan Lovins, David Kuperstock and others, the Learners' Minyan provides an open setting for religious enrichment for adults wishing to further their understanding of the texts and liturgy. While it does not formally constitute itself as a minyan (prayer quorum), the service can be a stepping stone for those who wish to participate more fully in the main service. The Learner's Minyan is part of BEKI's Torah for the Hungry Mind adult studies program.
