SUMMARY:A Hanukkah Shabbat Schmooze with Max DuBoff
DESCRIPTION:Judith is a woman who saves her people&nbsp\;from destruction\,
  a rarity in ancient Jewish literature. So it's tempting to read her as a
 feminist icon\, as many Jewish feminists have done. But some feminist bibl
 ical scholars argue that her story fits with\, and even endorses\, patriar
 chal norms. We'll study the story and weigh in on this debate! No prior kn
 owledge needed.\n&nbsp\;
