Library

The Rosenkrantz Family Library is a small reference and lending Judaica library serving the BEKI membership and the general public. It is open during regular synagogue hours. The Library is supported by the The Louis & Mary Rosenkrantz Family Library Endowment, established by the Congregation at The Jewish Foundation of Greater New Haven, and by the Barbara A. Rader Memorial Library Fund.

Collections

WiFi and Office Resources

WiFi connection is available to members and guests in the Library, Lobby and surrounding areas (except on Shabbat and Festivals). An ethernet connection is available in the Library.

How to Donate Books or Funds

To donate funds, send your check made payable to “BEKI” with a memo “Library” or “Ari Nathan Levine Children’s Library” or “Barbara A. Rader Memorial Library Fund” to “BEKI, 85 Harrison St., New Haven CT 06515-1724.” If you would like to be billed, see our Donation Page. If you wish to donate stock or securities, please call the Office Manager at (203) 389-2108 x114 for instructions.

If you wish to contribute new or used books, please contact the office@beki.org first; the collection is specialized and space is limited, so most donated books cannot be retained.
