Connecticut Transit New Haven Bus Routes B2, B3 stop directly at BEKI. Routes B1, Q, Z stop one to two blocks away. Some busses accomodate bicycles.

Whalley Avenue is a designated "Share the Road" New Haven Bicycle Path. A bicycle rack is located near the main entrance parking lot next to the handicapped parking zone at the northeast corner of the building.

Via I-95:
Take I-95 North to right Exit 43 "Downtown West Haven" (Route 122, Campbell Street).At bottom of exit ramp turn LEFT onto Campbell (=Route 122); pass under underpass (North toward New Haven).
Begin clocking 3.5 miles. After 9/10 of a mile road ends at a traffic light after Hess Gas station on Right (Route 1 = Orange Rd.) with little Forest Theater in front of you.
From middle lane, make RIGHT on ORANGE, then immediate LEFT onto FOREST (= Route 122 North).
After one block you will pass a large red brick building on right, the Allington Senior and Community Center.
Continue straight; cross Route 34 (=Derby Avenue).
After 3 miles (from start) you will pass a traffic light at Edgewood.
Continue STRAIGHT on Forest; proceed slowly 3/10 mile.
At end of Forest, turn LEFT onto Fountain Street.
Make immediate RIGHT onto Dayton street (Rte 122). Proceed one block to end of street.
Turn RIGHT on Whalley Avenue. Proceed 2/10 mile. At the next traffic light turn LEFT onto Harrison Street. The large white brick building is BEKI. Turn RIGHT at driveway and park in parking lot in rear.
To enter building: During office hours, enter from Eastern Entrance facing parking area by ringing doorbell. During service or program hours, enter main lobby from Eastern Entrance facing parking area or from Western Entrance on Harrison Street.
Via Merritt/Wilbur Cross
Take Merritt Parkway (=Wilbur Cross Parkway) to right Exit 59 New Haven - Woodbridge. Follow directions below at ☞ "Continue" .
From Hartford or Boston
SOUTH on I-91 to
RIGHT Exit 17 to
Route 15 South ("Wilbur Cross Parkway"= Merritt Parkway).
SOUTH to
☞ Continue:At bottom of ramp turn
RIGHT (East toward New Haven) onto Whalley Avenue (Rte. 69). Proceed about 1/10 mile.
Rte. 69 terminates and intersects Amity Rd. (Rte. 63) at traffic light. At this intersection, you may see a small strip mall (ahead), gas station (right), and Walgreens and strip mall (left). Turn
LEFT (11 O'Clock) onto Rte. 63 (now called Whalley Ave.).
Proceed on Whalley 7/10 mile (you will pass McDonalds, pass CVS). At the traffic light turn
LEFT onto Harrison Street. The large white brick building is BEKI. Turn

From Eastern Connecticut
Take I-95 south to right exit 47 (Rte. 34). At end of ramp, you will be on the street level; continue STRAIGHT on Rte. 34 (=N. Frontage) until ends at light. RIGHT on Ella Grasso Blvd (Rte. 10).
Proceed to major intersection with Whalley. LEFT on Whalley. Follow fork to RIGHT. At next traffic light turn RIGHT onto Harrison Street. The large white brick building is BEKI. Turn RIGHT at driveway and park in parking lot in rear.
