Shorashim/Roots returns to BEKI. They are an Israeli group, based in the West Bank who have been working to foster a grassroots movement of understanding, nonviolence and transformation among Israelis and Palestinians. Rabbi Hannan Schlessinger will offer a D’var Torah during services; he and his Palestinian colleague will present a Shabbat Schmooze following kiddush lunch. All are welcome.
